The record pairs Malcolm Young’s dry, percussive Gretsch-and-Marshall rhythm sound with Angus Young’s brighter Gibson SG lead voice. Engineer Tony Platt used Neumann U67 and U87 microphones on different speakers, while Angus’s Schaffer-Vega wireless system also pushed and coloured his amp input. Exact control positions were not documented, so settings are approximated from the documented rig.
