Mission Sound Watery Jangle — Jazzmaster Delay Ballad
Unlike the darker Rancho de la Luna material, “Cornerstone” was recorded with James Ford in New York and uses a brighter, more spacious guitar arrangement. The reconstruction uses Turner’s Humbug-era Jazzmaster, Selmer amplifier and delay, while a community gear analysis supports additional watery modulation; none of the numerical controls are documented studio settings. Signal Chain
Notes
Keep the repeats soft and darker than the original note. Use the neck pickup and only a trace of amp breakup so the vocal remains the centre of the mix.
