Synclavier Guitar Quack — Pensa-Suhr Lead
The distinctive central lead was played from a Pensa-Suhr R Custom guitar controller into a New England Digital Synclavier rather than being solely a conventional miked amplifier tone. The exact Synclavier patch parameters were not preserved publicly, so the settings approximate its bright, compressed and slightly synthetic attack. Notes
Use a very even finger attack and keep the synthetic layer dry enough to retain the impression of a real guitar. Avoid heavy chorus or saturated distortion.
