Siamese Dream Fuzz Cathedral — Layered Rhythm & Tape-Warp Solo
Billy Corgan’s Siamese Dream method placed an Electro-Harmonix Big Muff into the low-sensitivity input of a KT88-equipped Marshall JCM800, with the master high and preamp low. The record’s scale came from numerous tightly aligned guitar layers, while the solo’s modulation was created by running copies on two tape machines at slightly different speeds.
