Favourite Nightmare Razor Attack — TS808 Riff & Hiwatt Counterpart
The second-album era replaced much of Turner’s RAT-driven Orange sound with a Fender Bronco, Ibanez TS808 and Selmer Zodiac Twin 30. Jamie Cook supplied a heavier and more angular counterpart through Hiwatt amplification and Gibson or Telecaster-family guitars. Exact song settings are unavailable, so the controls below are approximated from the documented recording-era equipment. Signal Chain
Notes
Use sharp muting and minimal reverb. The guitars should feel fast and abrasive, but the gain must remain low enough for each repeated note to separate.
