Red-Light Dynamic Shift — Clean Intro & Orange-RAT Charge

The track moves from a thin, exposed clean introduction into the debut album’s characteristic Stratocaster, RAT and Orange-amplifier attack. Jamie Cook’s cleaner Hiwatt-supported guitar adds definition when the full band enters, but the exact recording assignments and knob positions are undocumented. Settings approximated from the documented debut-era rig. Source: Equipboard’s debut-album gear page, MusicStrive, and the Gearspace early-album mix discussion.

Notes

The opening should be dry and almost uncomfortable in its exposure. Make the full-band entrance larger through hard picking and a second guitar layer rather than excessive distortion.
