Munich Rockabilly Pastiche — Martin Rhythm & Esquire Lead
Freddie Mercury recorded the all-downstroke rhythm on a six-string Martin acoustic captured with two microphones and processed as a stereo spread. Brian May used Roger Taylor’s old Fender Esquire/Broadcaster-type guitar for the James Burton-inspired electric lines; May’s recollections conflict between a Mesa/Boogie and a Fender amp, so this preset follows his detailed 1983 Mesa/Boogie account and labels the settings approximate.
