Getaway-Era Filter Pulse — Josh Klinghoffer Rhythm
The rhythm guitar uses a subtle moving-filter effect controlled by an expression pedal rather than a conventional fixed wah sweep. Klinghoffer’s Jazzmaster is associated with the song’s video, while his period rig combined a Marshall Major with a Fender Tone-Master and a large collection of filters, boosts and delays; the exact studio guitar and processor remain undocumented, so this is a live-era reconstruction.
