Alex Turner uses a fuzz into a Vox AC30 for that gnarly indie rock riff. Stack the fuzz before a Vox-style amp.
Turner recorded the song with his 1962 Gretsch Duo Jet specifically to obtain a grittier tone. The surrounding era used a Selmer Zodiac and Magnatone Custom 410 in parallel, with TS808 overdrive and Cornell fuzz available for riffs and leads; the exact control positions are not documented.
