Continuum Studio Bloom — Deluxe Rhythm, Two-Rock Overdubs & Dumble Lead
The bulk of the recording used Mayer’s original 1964 Fender Stratocaster through a vintage Deluxe Reverb, while the main overdubs used a pair of Two-Rock amplifiers. The chorus chords were recorded through a Marshall Bluesbreaker, and the lead guitars used a Dumble Steel String Singer and Marshall with extensive close and room microphone arrays; settings are approximated because the engineer documented equipment rather than knob positions.
